Polish Affordables - Art Fair
The exhibition was initiated by a group of artists/friends, who needed to organise a ‘Polish Artists’ Open Studio’.
With our real studios spread all over London and its suburbs, we came up with the idea of moving the Open Art Studios to the POSK Gallery.
The artworks presented here are all for sale. It is a unique selection of works, some of which were shown at different exhibitions elsewhere, as well as works that were never shown, including the sketches, prints, paintings etc, from the artists’ personal portfolios, old and new. The essence of the exhibition is to show (without any particular concept or grandeur) and sell (at very affordable prices) the works that were ‘hidden’ in our workshops, so they can start living on someone’s wall rather than in our drawers and cabinets.
We will do our best to be present during the exhibition, and to be able to guide you around our studios’ treasures.

Wystawa, którą mogą państwo oglądać została zainicjowana przez grupę przyjaciół i narodziła się z potrzeby zorganizowania Open Art Studio polskich artystów. Niestety my - artyści żyjemy rozproszeni po całym Londynie i okolicach. Stąd idea przeniesienia Open Art Studio do galerii w POSK-u.
Prace, które można tutaj zobaczyć i zakupić są wyjątkowe. Niektóre z nich były już wystawiane, inne nigdy nie były pokazane, bo tworzono je do szuflady, lub zabrakło miejsca na ich prezentację. Wystawiamy także prace robione na wystawy, do których nie doszło. Odgrzebaliśmy grafiki które pozostały w teczkach, szkice do sprzedanych już obrazów, itd. Jak widać wszystko tu wchodzi w grę. Chcemy pokazać nasze prace które mamy poukrywane w pracowniach, zaprezentować je bez nadętych, głębokich idei, a co najistotniejsze to sprzedanie prac za bardzo przystępne ceny.
Postaramy się być obecni podczas wystawy, aby móc opowiedzieć i oprowadzić gości po naszych pracownianych ‘skarbach’.
