Gallery - Krystyna Shackleton Dzieszko

plakatKrystyna Shackleton Dzieszko, a member of APA, Axis, Bigos, whose work is in the permanent collection in The National Museum in Poland has died earlier this year, and her husband, Mr Gray wishes for all the profits from the sale of her works to be donated to Cancer Research. He is also kindly donating some of her works to the POSK Collection, of which permanent curator is Monika Skowronska.

This is what Krystyna said of her work;

"I am British born of Anglo-Polish origin, living and working in London. This richness of duality provides a constant source of inspiration and innovation in my work. Travel is part of my working process, experiencing different cultural contexts and finding parallels in various cultural systems with the aim of furthering cross-cultural dialogue. See 'Monument to Consumerism', Mexico City Project and 'The Grass is Greener'."

Krystyna, on her mother side, was related to Sir E H Shackleton.

The POSK Gallery is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00.

The POSK reception passes on information left for the Gallery and also any details of sales from exhibitions in the Gallery.

Exhibitions change every two weeks.

Terms of Hire

The gallery may be hired for two-week periods on payment of a deposit at the time of fixing the dates, the balance is due two months before the date of the exhibition. Please contact us for more information regarding hiring and acceptance of works for display.

We accept proposals for exhibitions of paintings, drawings, graphic art, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, and any works of art by artists living in Poland or abroad.

Confirmation of acceptance of any works is given after receiving a minimum of 4-6 colour photographs of the proposed works via the internet.
